Description
Scissor Lifting Tackle (Scissor Lifting Beam) used in material handling, it is a special lifting device designed to safely lift loads by gripping them from the sides using a scissor-type mechanism.
What is a Scissor Tackle?
A scissor tackle consists of:
- Scissor arms (pivoted links)
- Lifting eye (shackle point) for crane hook connection
- Pivot pins and bushes
- Load contact pads or clamps
- Locking mechanism (optional for safety)
When the crane lifts the tackle, the scissor arms close and securely grip the load. When lowered, the arms open automatically to release the load.
