Chain Sling

Description

A Chain Sling is a lifting assembly made from high-strength alloy steel chain and certified lifting components such as a master link, connecting links, shortening clutches (optional), and hooks. It is widely used for heavy-duty lifting where durability and resistance to heat and abrasion are required.

Main Components

• Master Link – Connects the sling to the crane hook.
• Connecting Link – Joins the chain to the master link or hook.
• Alloy Steel Chain – Usually Grade 80 (G80) or Grade 100 (G100).
• Shortening Clutch (optional) – Adjusts the effective chain length.
• Lifting Hook – Sling hook, self-locking hook, or foundry hook.
